Julia Barbosa Landois Performance
Artist Julia Barbosa Landois and musician Erik Sanden (of the art-rock band Buttercup) will perform at 7pm on Thursday, June 30th in the Culo de Oro/The Golden Ass installation space. The performance will mix dialogue based on interviews and Internet testimonials about Nuevo Laredo's Boys Town with popular songs whose lyrics complement the text in unexpected ways. Landois and Sanden will transform the gallery into a cantina cabaret while confronting the audience with the complications of pleasure-seeking in exotic locales. This is their first collaborative project.
This performance is recommended for those 18 and older.
