Family Saturday, July 14

Blue Star is pleased to present the summer's second installment of Family Saturday! Family Saturday is an education program uniquely constructed for kids and their families to experience contemporary art in a gallery setting. The event will feature a special art activity involving moving sculptures led by local artist Kim Bishop.

On three Saturdays this summer, Blue Star opens its doors three hours early for families interested in experiencing contemporary art firsthand. Each Family Saturday features Family Activity Guides, various art projects, and a special art activity led by a local or exhibiting artist.

The event is free, but space is limited. Families are encouraged to reserve their spots by noon on Friday, July 13, 2012, and can do so by calling 210.227.6960 or by email to Alison Goetz at

Family Saturdays are generously made possible by The Brown Foundation.
